Appreciation Post Ft. Shyna

Winters are probably a nightmare for peace lilly parents. This peace lilly named plant is so dramatic and Su1c1dal in winters that one might start planning to get a new one in the upcoming spring season.

In all this I see a snap of my friend Shyna and her pet lilly rocking winters like a king. Just look at it.

She is a new plant parent and I think not killing your first plant is a big deal. So we asked her what's her routine with her 1 year old Peace Lilly. she said-

WALK YOUR PLANT

So she tells us she takes her plant out on walks and this is actually working for her and she told us experiences how people show kind reactions. Seeing someone walk their plants with them. Yeah great trick, you just do this and all of a sudden you are a good kid for all the granny's walking on the pedestrian.

HYDROPONIC APPROACH

The day she bought this plant was the same day I asked her to move it in the water media and luckily this is how she managed to keep such a healthy root network. Also she is a practicing nurse so she says it is easy all you need is to top up and refill the vase.

CELEBRATING MONTHLY BIRTHDAYS

So she tell us that they (Shyna and her roommates) celebrate her plant's birthday every month.

So 20th of every month, they'll cut cakes and all. Big Thumbs Up to her plantparenthood.

PLANT PAMPERING

She told us that she does a lot of things to keep her plant entertained like, sleeping with the plant by her side.

Seeing sunsets with her plant,

Keeping the leaves clean,

Also to spend her money to get stones for her plant

And she says it is worth it. So that was the appreciation for the commendable job and this was an idea how you can keep your plants entertained and in a good place.
