Now you need to understand this, the best thing here is that it can turn out as a dietary supplement for your plant before dormancy and the worst case scenario is that your lovely plant can unfortunately get a frostbite. When do I repot my plants?

If you ask me, when do I repot my plants? Honestly any times I purchase them from the nursery I do not repot them until they existentially need it. Now what do I mean by they "Existentially need it" is either when I am rescuing a plant or when my plant stops growing because of it being rootbound. By it being rootbound I mean roots hanging from the bottom of the pot and your pot starts to look more like a ramen bowl.

How to repot a root bound plant?

The process is very simple you just need to pull your rootbound plant from the existing planter. Then you will loosen up the soil covering the roots with a gentle massage and then you will accommodate the plant in a one inch bigger pot with some well draining soil mix and just water it thoroughly. I advise you to not to be greedy, by giving it with too big of a pot, because that can cause root rot in the roots of your fast growing champ!

One time you should avoid repotting your plant is when your plants are in bloom. If your plant is blossoming or flowering, the best idea for your plant and for your pocket would be to let that natural cycle run its course.

If you repot them when they are blooming then you are most likely to lose the blooms and if you have the hands of misfortune then you can also pay the price of this plant project by entirely losing your plant.
