New Plants Moye Moye.

New Plants Moye Moye.

This weekend Simmi didi, the co-founder of our website called me and ranted her new plants are moye moye-ing. So this blog is about the rescue of that Dracaena and Fittonia plant.

Okay the leaves of the dracaena were drooping on obtuse and my sister was confuse. Fittonia was dying and miss was crying. Okay stapp.

Okay in brief my sister PhD in Pedology, Bsc. and Msc. gold medalist in Agriculture. Shifted her new plants into some other planter the day she got the plants home and that too I don't know what's this obsession about Oversized clothing that she shifted those little plants in 7inch Terracotta planter. Moye Moye.

Good thing she was watering the plants well. Like a well! She was watering them plants daily. All of this that too in winters. Moye Moye

Briefly we uprooted the dracaena plant. If the leaves are falling then why to harass the roots. Cz I knew the plant was surely having root rot.

We then snipped some mushy roots and the stem just above the node and changed the potting mix and applied some turmeric powder on the cut portions. Then covered the plant with a transparent film for better humidity.

Moving on to Fittonia. The leaves were burnt and black. Just look at it. A XS small plant in XXL planter. Moye Moye.

We uprooted the plant, checked for root rot and guess what we found professional dishonesty of the nursery owners in the pot.We found the roots of the plants were being suffocated in a cellophane wrap.

We released the plant, snipped the roots short and divided the plant in four baby plants. We planted two of them in soil media and one in water media with roots and other one too in water media but without roots.

Okay the plants were then kept together in bright light conditions for them to heal and do their plant thing. They'll be all good in a month or so.

Okay on this note editor says bye bye. Stay Strong Love plants. Sayonara. Signing out- Anmol Rajput.
