Plant rescues

Salem Plant.

Plant had root rot. Mushy roots were cut and plant was moved to water media. 12 March 2023.

2. ZZ plant.

This zz was being watered daily which molded the rhizomes. The rhizomes were cut and aerial limbs were moved to water media. 15 March 2023.

3. Money Tree.

This plant was being watered carelessly which caused stem rot in the plant. So the stem was cut from the affected portion and was tossed in the soil after applying rooting hormone on its base. 18 March 2023.

4. Arrowhead Syngonium.

Feeble-yellow coloured stems were seen in the plant. On checking, root rot was confirmed. So the mushy pale stems were removed and plant was moved in water media. 21 January 2023.

5.Peace lily.

Plant was not growing at all. When checked hydrophobic soil was suffocating the thirsty plant root. Plant was moved in water media with some drops of liquid foliage fertiliser. 14 April 2023.

6. Pink Agloanema.

Plant was severely infested by aphids. Plant was moved in water media and the parent was advised to keep the plant indoors. 14 April 2023.

7. Peace lily.

Plant parent was helped with peace lily via skype. 20 April 2023.

8. Wandering Jew.

Plant was not draining water from drainage hole at all. When checked the plant base was enveloped by plastic sheet. The sheet was removed and the media was replaced as the soil media was too moist for the plant. 13 May 2023.

9. Salem Plant.

Plant was shedding leaves. Leaf curling upwards was visibly indicating that the plant was in heat stress. The plant was fertilised and the parent was advised to keep the plant in a cool and dry place. 18 May 2023.

10. Peace lilly.

Plant was infested by pests and was root rotted as well. So the plant was sprayed with neem oil solution and the roots were cut and were dipped in hydrogen peroxide solution. Plant parent is advised to keep the plant in shade and to change the water of the vase on a daily basis for at least two weeks. 20 May 2023.

11. Pink Aglaonema.

This cutie in pink is my sister and she was having hard time with her aglaonema. she is an accounts graduate, so drainage holes make no sense to her. Plant was moved in water media from her planter with no drainage holes. 29 May 2023.

12. Peace Lily.
