Plants That You Can Grow In Rooms Without Windows.

Plants That You Can Grow In Rooms Without Windows.

Plants that grow in low light conditions.

Raising a plant is difficult in a place with less sunlight and even worse if you have no windows or light source in the rooms. For our hardworking brothers who have to accomodate themselves in basements and for those plant parents who want to fit in a plant in their bathrooms, here's the list of plants who will cooperate with you for the same.

One thing I want to clear is that there is nothing like 'no light plant' yeah they can be low light plant but no plant can survive in complete darkness like dark dark. Even if they are low light plants you'll still have to occasionally show them the sun or what else you can do is to keep the washroom door open no matter even if the window is 10 meters away from the washroom.

Agloanema

Aglaonema has variegated leaves in shades of red, pink, yellow, and green. Keep this plant in a space that needs some color and you won’t have any need for flowers.

Chinese evergreens thrive in low-light areas and they are also very drought tolerant, so if you forget to water it for a while there will be no harm done. Perfect for people new to houseplants or those who consider themselves “black thumb gardeners.”

Spider Plant

Spider plants love low light and do not require much attention other than occasional watering when the soil feels dry. It has long green foliage which makes it a good choice to decor in a hanging basket.

Pothos

Of course we'll talk about the OG in the gang Mr. Pothos. You can keep this plant in any space you want, it'll survive & thrive. Water it irregularly and it'll forever be your buddy.

Maranta (Prayer Plant)

This houseplant needs to be kept out of direct sunlight in order for the variegated pattern on the leaves to remain vibrant. Plant it in well-draining soil and mist its leaves regularly. The leaves will point upwards at night like hands in prayer, which is where it got its common name “prayer plant.”

Snake Plant

Snake plant aka Survivor plant, no black thumb can kill this plant you can keep it in the corners, shelves, staircases or bedrooms it ain't gonna die just make sure you water it judiciously because after all its a succulent.

Peace lily

Not only this plant has delicate yinnish leaves but those leaves clean air for you very efficiently. Peace lilies do well in dark or bright areas, so feel free to place these all over your home if you like!

These plants like to be kept moist and humid. Water regularly and mist the leaves as well to keep your peace lily happy and blooming. If you aren’t watering it enough, you will know because the leaves will droop.

ZZ plant

You can complete a Europe trip and come back and you will still find this plant holding tight because it is a overly pleasing plant with no ego problems. It requires no attention just water it once in a month if you feel like.

Plants you can keep in your bathroom with no windows

So, there is a trick how you can keep a plant in a bathroom with no windows and still manage to keep it alive. You'll need to couple up a ZZ plant and a Snake plant in a coordination, like you'll keep the ZZ plant in the washroom and the snake plant will rest in a bright location for three months straight then after three months you'll switch their places and you will keep the Snake plant in the washroom and you'll swap the place of the Snake plant with the ZZ plant and vice versa. Now the thing here is you are not advised to juggle them before three months as repeated uncertainty in their surroundings can kill them also make sure you switch their places on time because keeping them in dark for so long can kill them too. If you ask me I will not recommend keeping any of these plants in bathrooms because firstly it is a torture for them secondly these plants are Feng-Shui plants which means they are meant to be lucky so it really messes with your luck if you keep them in your bathroom. You'll see a lot of misguiding video on the youtube but trust me keeping the plants in the washroom is not a deal. Like just imagine you are keeping a snake plant in a humid washroom when actually snake plant is a desert plant so it makes no sense because eventually its going to die there. If you still want to keep a plant in your washroom then please consider buying a quality grow light or glow bulb.
