They say one should plant at least 8 trees in their lifetime. So why not tell you a tale. Anmol Katal, the most generous person I have ever seen. A tragic road accident claimed his life this year. Rest In Peace Brother.

He was so beloved that we planted a fig tree in his memory. Choosing the perfect spot to plant that tree was a task, I toured all over the university and then found a place serene enough to plant the tree. A Fig tree? Why so biased for a fig tree. We wanted a fruiting tree with good shade and which is fast growing enough to give shade to the forthcoming batches of our university. This is the picture the of the baby plant we selected.

Also, we got a bamboo wood support cage for it.

Then we travelled back to the site with the support cage and the plant.

Evidently we can see the plant was so happy with the attention.

These pictures unlocked a new core memory for us. Anyways, we decided that we will continue planting trees on Katal's birthday going forward. I did mine, now you do you.
