Water Media Vs. Soil Media.

Water Media Vs. Soil Media.

Plant parents who grow their plants in water media are the real OG's👓. Way better than struggling to know the right watering habits of any plant and unaliving many of them cute babies just for your lesson.

Typically every houseplant can grow in water. If they are getting enough nutrition from your water soluble fertilisers.

COST EFFECTIVE.

It is unlike soil media where you are buying potting mix, perlite, orchid bark, coco peat, sand, vermiculite, compost, moss and half of walmart aisles. Here all you need is a glass and some water. Saved you hundreds of dollars.

Saves you bucks to get more plants.

EASY MAINTENANCE.

Plants in water act like a retired old man, very soulful and not fussy at all as if they are getting their allowances on time. Its saves your hassle of overwatering and underwatering the plants. All you have to do is refill the water in the vase and wash the plant roots once in a while.

A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT.

What does one want other than a fresh cup of coffee in the morning and a sight of their urban jungle. You can simply elevate the elegance of your place with plants without having your desk being mud caked. The best part is you can see the roots grow. Plus you got a pinterest worthy room.

PREVENTS PESTS.

Pesky pests always seem to find their way to our plants, much to the sorrow of every plant parent. These pests lay eggs in the soil of potted plants, and their larvae tend to feed on the soil fungi. So by eliminating the soil, you get rid of the pests! This makes water a hassle-free option, that’s very easy to implement. You’ll never need to use pesticides again.

TAKES LESS SPACE.

Don't think plants are for jungles and gardens only, you deserve a plant pal with you for all the times, in the kitchen, in the bedroom, in the workspace and even one in bathroom (I recommend a snake plant for that, they are the best). Plants in water are best for those people who don't have a garden or much space. So just empty that coffee mug, wash it thoroughly and pop a plant cutting in it.

OKAY A MYTH BUSTER AT THE END!

Growing plants in water uses a third of water required if they were growing in soil. so it does conserve water and is a smart choice.

and NO keeping plant in water does not get it root rotted rather it saves the plant. Very easy just highschool science- Root rot results from of lack of oxygen okay, we know water has one oxygen molecule so root rot is far far away from your junior.

Not my shot glass, now happens to be my plant's apartment.
